RTT Testbed

Real-Time Text Testbed for Interoperability

To encourage and ensure Real-Time Text interoperability, interworking tests need to be specified and a Real-Time Text Test Bed implemented.

 

This will be done by the Interoperability Task-Group.

The goal of the Task-Group is to make it possible that the R3TF will be able to act as a reference organisation for interoperability testing, in particular between different ToIP/RFC4103 solutions as well as for interoperability with non-RFC4103 based solutions.

A Real-Time Text Test Bed is planned as Open Source tools. The test bed will allow implementers to test compliance of their solutions with the standards.

The test bed for interoperability testing should cover all aspects of Real-Time Text solutions and standards, including but not limited to transcoding gateways. This also means that telephony devices will be tested for proper Real-Time Text use as for example described in RFC4504.
